Demonstrates the use of the CartoType map developer's API (Application Programming Interface); a reliable and robust API for displaying and manipulating off-line maps. Capabilities also include searching and routing. An example map, (San Jose, California) is provided and a few more can be downloaded once the app is installed. See our website http://www.cartotype.com for more detail.
Please note that this is a demo app chiefly intended for potential developers. The code is kept simple and does not reflect the full user experience of a production app.
