Neonatal Drug Withdrawal Syndrome also known as Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) is an ever increasing problem among newborn infants. These protocols are based on published studies and provide an evidenced based method for treating neonatal drug withdrawal in newborns. This app is intended for Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists and other Pediatric Health Professionals.

Recent changes:
Update 9/14/2013: Updated the code to fix an error that would occur for users whose language settings (mostly European) would replace the decimal "." with a comma "," This caused a math error when trying to do any of the calculations. This should be fixed now. I would recommend entering the initial patient weight using a decimal instead of a comma. Everything else should be automatic.
