Next Issue Love it! For the price of three or four magazines, I get HUNDREDS!

Love the service - hate the storage hogging, slow, inefficient distribution I love getting most of my favorite mags on my tablet(s). HOWEVER, be warned - each PAGE of each issue of each magazine is downloaded and stored as a jpeg file! So a magazine that might take a few MB in standard epub format becomes 50MB or more! Downloads are SLOW. Keeping a few issues of your favorites adds up to several GB of storage. To compound the problem, the app does refuses to store the data on an SDCARD. I have done the experimenting, and poking into /data/data/com.nim.discovery to know what I am talking about. You may see comments by ignorant trade press writers or even NextIssue support staff saying the contrary - but facts are facts. Also I subscribe to a few other e-edition magazines that are not available on NextIssue and those do download in less than 1/10 the time and space. So NextIssue - work with your publishers to distribute epub files or some similar format. Then you can also offer multiple fonts, page/word re-flow and arbitrary zooming which you are lacking. If need be you can encrypt/DRM them to make you and the publishers feel "safer".

Worth the price My only complaint is that I can't save the magazines to an sd card.

Next Issue This is really super, lots of new titles have been added. the only thing I dont like is that it no longer bookmarks my page when I leave a magazine. It used to take be back to where I left off but now I have to flip through to find my page.
