Obsqr QR Scanner

Obsqr QR Scanner

Obsqr is a fast and simple QR code scanner. It does just one thing and does it well - it scans.
Minimal design allows you to access QR content with a single tap.

By the way, it's free and open-source - check http://bitbucket.org/trikita/obsqr

Obsqr can decode the following QR types: URLs, phone numbers, SMS, geolocations, emails, contact information, applications on Market, wifi configuration and plain text.

Note! We no longer support android devices running Android 2.2 Froyo and earlier versions. We are trying to keep the sources clear and simple, but camera orientation support, that was added only in Android 2.3, doesn't assume some elegant workaround on earlier OS versions. We are deeply sorry that 26 users won't get Obsqr updates and may recommend them to build an apk-file from the sources on bitbucket (https://bitbucket.org/trikita/obsqr). Thanks for understanding!

Recent changes:
* New shiny almost material design
* Rewritten a lot of code, fixed some content parsing erros, moving towards QRs with mixed content (e.g. text and URLs)

Honest and efficient Quick, efficient app for reading a QR code with a single touch, no complex interface slowing you down. I have a not-so-usual configuration (Nexus 4 + CM11) that led to some issues (freeze) with the newest version, but the previous one works perfectly every time.

Textbook example This is how every app should be. Simple, to the point and with NO ridiculous privacy invading permissions! Fantastic developer.

So simple! Simple design, no extra features, works great, no ridiculous permissions. I scoured the Play store for a qr reader that did one thing - read qr codes, so many of them are jam packed with annoying extras. I searched over at xda and found this app. EXACTLY what I was looking for! Great job!
