Odontuya Saldan is a mongolian entrepreneur and politician. She is a member of the Democratic Party of Mongolia. Currently, she is a member of the Citizens Representative Khural of the capital city of Ulaanbaatar (Ulaanbaatar City Parliament) and recently has been the advisor on economic issues to the Minister of Health of Mongolia, S. Lambaa. She also is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Democratic Party.
Odontuya, an international economic analyst, is the CEO of LOTS Invest LLC and the founder and the president of the NGO Citizen Treasure Foundation, which helps fellow-citizens on self-development.
In 1996, she was elected the National President of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Mongolia and is a Senator since 2001.
Odontuya was born in 1964 in Ulaanbaatar as the youngest of four children of the young policitian Dangaasuren SALDAN, she early discovered her interests in politics. After graduating from the University of Sankt Petersburg with her majors in International Economic Relations and receiving her MBA in the United States, Odontuya held several positions including as a member of the State Committee for Science and Technology, CEO of Sodtrade LLC, member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party and a member of the Public Council of the Mongolia Economic Forum.
Together with the NBA Superstar Dwight Howard and his D12 Foundation, Odontuya launched a new project called "Say yes...to the youth" in 2011.
