What is Operation: Fly?
Operation: Fly is a Non-Profit organization that is focused on preserving General Aviation in the United States, and attempting to keep the costs of participating in General Aviation activities as low as possible. We figure that providing a fun game to give people a reason to fly will allow more people to fly than would otherwise. We charge no fees for our services.
Does visiting an airport using a scheduled carrier count?
Part 121 operations, that is, airlines such as American Airlines and United Airlines, do not count, but part 135 operations, that is, chartered airplanes, count only if the pilot of the airplane claims the airport. Unfortunately, being a passenger on an airplane does not count, as this challenge is intended to get pilots out flying to places.
1.2 - Apologies for the multiple updates in short timeframes - there was a bug that prevented submissions from happening on devices running Android 2.2 or 2.3.3, and would throw a force close. This is now resolved.
1.1 - Added support for many more devices, also added a progress bar to fix Force Closes on some devices.
