The m-Call Android application from Panaram allows you to integrate your Android with your corporate or hosted phone system (IP PBX). Phone calls are routed through your PBX providing support for short code dialing, least cost routing and one number presentation. Supported PBX systems include BroadWorks, Mitel and Asterisk.
m-Call is designed with the end user in mind. There are no complex settings to enter and the user does not have to decide what type of call to make. The user makes a call as normal (For example, selecting a contact form the contact list). Whether you are only routing international calls to reduce cost, or all calls to benefit from mobile integration, m-Call will make the decision on the users behalf.
Advanced call back support is provided for BroadWorks and Asterisk users. What does this mean in practice? When a call is made using the m-Call Android application your PBX will make the call on your behalf and call you back (sometimes referred to as "Click to Dial"). To the person you are calling, it appears that the call comes from your office desk phone as they only ever see one number.
For BroadWorks users, m-Call also allows you to control your common desk phone features such as Call Forward (always, when busy, no answer, unreachable), Caller ID Blocking and Do Not Disturb.
Application configuration and deployment is managed by the Panaram provisioning system. Application features and call routing options can be defined allowing one application to meet different user requirements. Users are notified over the air and can install the app or update to new settings at their convenience.
The application is available to m-Call licensees. For more information please contact your IP PBX administrator or service provider. Alternatively you can contact Panaram by emailing [email protected]
