Resend messages that are sitting in your Cerner Millennium® Exception Queue.
Patient care is jeopardized every time a hospital’s electronic record system loses or delays the delivery of critical clinical and business messages. When your Millennium EMR encounters a problem delivering a message, it sends the message to the Exception Queue. The reQueuer app from Softek Panther enables you to use your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to resend these critical messages – and prevent unnecessary interruptions in patient care. You no longer have to rush to your Panther desktop to fix a problem.
Our reQueuer app accesses a secure web service available to Panther clients who have moved to our 64-bit platform. Once you log in, you’ll see a list of all the messages in the Exception Queue. From this list you can easily look at the details of individual messages or filter messages by node or destination queue. With a single touch and confirmation, messages can be resent (or deleted if no longer necessary) individually or as a group.
Before running the reQueuer app, you will need to contact Panther Support to enable the web service and establish the necessary network connection. To schedule an upgrade to the 64-bit architecture, contact Panther Client Services.
