Park Path Explorer

Park Path Explorer

The Park Path Explorer touring companion accompanies you on your visit to a park within Parcs Québec’s network.

You will come across certain discovery points identified along the trails, intended to draw your attention to the special features, land forms, habitats, history, plants, and animals of the park. During your visit, they will allow you to learn more about the park and the beauty that lies within.

The Park Path Explorer app gives you:
several trails and circuits to discover
a detailed map for each trail/circuit
discovery points with descriptions, pictures, diagrams and observations.

Six of Québec’s national parks currently feature a Park Path Explorer app: Frontenac, Jacques-Cartier, Mont-Saint-Bruno, Yamaska, Mont-Tremblant and Lac-Témiscouata. Soon, other parks will be added to this list and, when completed, all the parks of the network will feature their Park Path Explorer.

Recent changes:
- Added GPS positionning on the maps.
- Addition of Parc national du Mont-Tremblant and Parc national du Lac-Témiscouata.
- For a faster experience, you can now download parks data individually.
- Many other improvements.

Very basic and unfinished Does have some interesting information on points along the path, and everything works without data coverage. However, the GPS functionality is broken, and the map is extremely low resolution.

Expected something more Few trails only, no high-level map, not enough details. Looks like high school student did that in one evening. Work in progress? For now better go to desktop site

No link to a general map If you don't know where the parks are, nothing will show you as the park maps are not linked to a general map or google maps. De plus, avoir l'option de mettre l'appli en fr serait important.
