Great app! (location of landmarks sometimes off in maps) It works! tells you where the visible peaks are from your vantage point. It relies on OpenStreetMap open-source map. There are errors on OSM which propagate into the app. For example in one particular region the location is off by 3" seconds longitude. While this doesn't sound like much - it is a lot - when you are observing from a location with mountains nearby. In that case the app will interpret those proximal hills as blocking your view of the further peaks even though they are not in-real-life. This is because the app gets your REAL location from the GPS it then uses to place you on its Digital Terrain Map - now the DTM is offset by 3" so it thinks you're somewhere you're not.

Not enjoying this app at all Not really getting on with this app at all. Major difficulties convincing myself that it adds any value to my day..Not easily navigated by intuition. Probably stop using it .
