What people are saying about Postmates:

"The hottest delivery startup out of San Francisco [Postmates] is growing like crazy" - Business Insider

"Think of Postmates as the Amazon Prime for the ‘now’ sort of delivery. Two days is just fine on books and socks, but less good when you need an iPhone 5 charger, three tacos, and ibuprofen delivered to your office in about an hour." - TechCrunch

“Postmates... stands out from just grocery deliveries or restaurant services by featuring a roster of places that don’t typically do takeout. Think Momofuku Milk Bar pastries, Niketown and Best Buy.” - NY Post

GET $20: promo code 8BCN Enter code 8BCN for $20 in credit. This code works in all cities, no worries about losing your new customer credit opportunity by entering a city specific code, or an old expired code. FYI: Paul's review stating 50% off all future deliveries is a lie... Mark it as unhelpful :(

Mixed bag First, it can be very expensive. I had 4 printer cartridges delivered yesterday and fees & a modest tip came to > $40. That said, it works well and is very convenient. Software is a bit too minimalist. Not immediately apparent how to order from non-featured stores. Also, you can specify both the store & the product, but if you don't, it's the driver's choice, which can increase the price. E.g., a dozen roses from a florist vs a dozen from a grocery store. I recommend it for emergencies, but not every day.

Expensive. And high risk of they ruining your order It is a very hefty fee that you pay for delivery ~8.75 here in Santa Monica , plus you still have to tip the delivery guys. Ordering from Chipotle was a nightmare, because the order doesn't go directly to Chipotle, the delivery person goes into Chipotle and reads the order to them. The couple of times we order Chipotle the order was missing details, again experience depends on the delivery person you get, but it could be easily avoid if they would post the orders directly to the restaurants.
