Common Questions/Answers for Poweramp v2.x:

Q. My songs are missing from folders/library.
A. Please ensure you have all your folders with music actually checked in Poweramp Settings => Folders and Library => Music Folders.
Your original Android Library is not changed, nor any files deleted.
Poweramp library is a separate, completely independent library. When you installed Poweramp 2.0, it just got filled with the files scanned from your sd card/other flash memory, as specified in Music Folders.

Q. Volume too low. Volume changes weirdly. Other volume issues.
A. Try to disable Direct Volume Control in Poweramp Settings => Audio => Advanced Tweaks.

Poweramp 2.x uses Direct Volume Control by default on 2.3+ mid-to-high end devices. On stock ROMs this produces much better audio output. But many custom/buggy ROMs, while supporting DVC, can fail with it.

Recent changes:
- 575: fixed rare issue with compressed id3v2 tags
- improved stability @ Lollipop
- fixed issue with tag scanner crashing on some incorrect tags (huge thanks to Saurabh Arora, who helped investigating the issue)
- added workaround to skip wbmp album art as it crashes Android in albums/folders list (huge thanks to Luan Andrade, who helped investigating the issue)
- fixed drag and drop in playlists @ Android 4.4+
- few other minor fixes

A+. Best audioplayer to date, supports ogg end flac. Would buy if it wasn't for the fact that I have too little room for apps on HTC Desire. Uninstalled.

Лучший аудиоплеер, недостаток 1 - необходимость использования стороннего приложения для поиска текста песен (musiXmatch).

Seriously not ready for prime time... Samsung Galaxy Tablet 4... The app just decides it is no longer going to register and storage... Can't read any folders at all... I paid for the app but I don't know if it is an update problem or what??... I do a rescan and that might... or might not fix the problem... More trouble than what it is worth considering the amount of competitors.... Update: Continue to have the same problems... About twice a week it decides it can not read the folder on the SDCard and suggests a FULL SCAN... However, I can go into the file structure and play a song in the directory but it still will not play from the list... Then magically, sometime later it will start playing with no problems again. Reboots don't help, I have checked and no other processes are access the SDCard at the same time... Other products don't have the same problem. They also don't have the same features that I like (except they actually work). Decided to count the cost of this app as a loss and put my music on a Raspberry Pi and just stream it. Seriously disappointed after all the great reviews...
