Probability Distributions


Compute probabilities and plot the probability mass function for the binomial, Poisson, hypergeometric, and negative binomial distributions. Compute probabilities, determine percentiles, and plot the probability density function for the normal (Gaussian), t, chi-square, F, exponential, gamma, beta, and log-normal distributions.

Some knowledge of probability distributions is required. If you don't know what a "binomial" distribution is, for example, this application will not be of any help to you.

About Probability Distributions

Need overlays I would love to overlay one PDF on top of another - for example to show Normal approx to Binomial, or Normal approx to Poisson. Any ability to superimpose one chart on top of another would be awesome.

Great app for fitting distributions. Only if.. The app is very helpful in providing an idea of the most commonly used distributions and and their moments. Now the problem is that the Poisson distribution doesn't work due to numerical instability (as shown by the app).
