Is this app a little gimmicky? Perhaps, but our goal is not to sell you an application that will change your life. Rather, our goal is to raise money to help give the traumatized children of Joplin peace of mind, knowing that they will not lose any more loved-ones to another deadly tornado. Built to FEMA specs, and constructed from reclaimed, and recycled materials, JOMO Shelters are superior in quality to other shelters available on the market today. They are essentially a reinforced-concrete structure wrapped in a bullet-proof vest. What's even better than that? They're FREE to those who cannot afford them, and extremely affordable to those who can. 100% of the net profits from the sale of this app go to pay professional contractors to install FREE JOMO Shelters for those who cannot afford them. Purchase this app knowing that you are helping to prevent the tragic loss-of-life that occurred when tornadoes obliterated many areas of the mid-west in May-June 2011.
Project JOMO (Project Joplin, MO) was inspired by the devastation in Joplin, Missouri, when an EF5 tornado ripped through the town on May 22, 2011, and took the lives of over 160 men, women, and children who were without adequate shelter. Project JOMO is a project of Real Greenius LLC which is dedicated to providing FREE storm shelters to families in need of them throughout "Tornado Alley", and all other areas affected by tornadoes. Through their patent-pending process, Real Greenius produces these superior-quality storm shelters at their new facility in Joplin, Missouri. Beginning with droves of free installations in Joplin, Project JOMO then plans to expand outward in their coverage area to eventually cover all of the Midwest and beyond with a blanket of safety from the storm. In the process, they are saving not only thousands of lives, but helping the environment by re-manufacturing non-toxic industrial waste that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.
