projectM Music Visualizer Pro

projectM Music Visualizer Pro

projectM is the most advanced music visualizer available on the Android Market. It has the smoothest graphics, the most presets, and is the most responsive to music. It can be used as a Live Wallpaper or standalone app.

projectM will visualize any sound playing on your phone. If there is no audio playing, projectM will visualize your microphone input!

projectM is essentially a rewrite of MilkDrop with modern technologies. It is compatible with MilkDrop (.milk) presets.

PowerAMP supports enhanced music player controls, such as fast forward/rewind, album art, music browsing inside projectM, and track notifications.

Features:

- Multi-Touch Interactive Visuals
- Music Player Control (Google Music & PowerAMP)
- Preset Browser
- Preset Search
- Auto-detects sound from Microphone and Music Players
- Live Wallpaper Mode
- Standalone Application Mode
- Honeycomb/ICS support
- Configurable graphics quality
- Low battery usage (very little CPU used)
- x86 Support

On first start, projectM will download 275 presets. This is just to get you started. There are thousands of presets available online to try out.

To increase quality or performance, adjust texture size under settings. Mesh size is also useful if texture size isn't enough.

This is the Official projectM for Android brought to you by the original projectM developers.

***About Music Player Support***
projectM supports Google Music and PowerAMP because they have published specs for interacting with them. We have received requests for Pandora, MixZing, Player Pro, MortPlayer, etc., but none have these have published an API that I am aware of. If/When they become available, we will implement support for them.

No updates since December 2013! ;'( Love this app was just what i wanted only issues would be the app freezing and making it impossible to use my phone after charging forcing me to restart my phone and change the live wallpaper in order to use it again. Also in Live Wallpaper mode the same presets seem to show up quite often even though i have it set to random presets. I hope to see these issues addressed in the future. 😃 (Edit) Oh dear i see no updates since December 2013 i guess this app is a "dead parrot" :[

Great performance. More features please. The app works great as a live wallpaper or full-screen. It has great music response with Google Music. I'd like to see things like resizable music buttons and meta data from songs while playing. Dev is great at responding to emails.

Amazing. Works with any audio from any app. No need to wait around for a music app to build their own visualizer now.

Awesome I am really glad that they came out8 with an app that supports Milkdrop. I would give this app 5 stars if there weren't a couple bugs in the Pro version. First of all, the user interface could be a lot better and they should consider using a similar interface to the free version as I feel that one was a little bit better. Also the docking screen seems to stay on the same preset and it doesn't fully work as it only takes up half of the screen. I am running it on a samsung galaxy s4.
