Protos Golf GPS Rangefinder

Protos Golf GPS Rangefinder

Protos Golf GPS Rangefinder provides course map and GPS Range Finder services completely free. Using satellite imagery it can show you exactly how far away you are from the green center, sand traps, fairway targets and other points of interest. Distances can be shown in yards or meters. To conserve power, the GPS is only used when you are using the map or rangefinder screens.

Having trouble getting a cellular signal while playing on the course?
This app will allow you save a club onto your phone beforehand. With the club saved, the Rangefinder works perfectly well even when your phone cannot get a signal.

Furthermore, the Rangefinder has been kept simple and uncluttered. We know how hard it can be to see small text in direct sunlight so we made the numbers big and the screen high contrast.

We have about 20,000 courses as of release 2.0
New courses are being carefully added every day. If your course is not already supported, simply request it here: http://protosgolf.appspot.com/clubrequest

Our users are happy and can attest to our responsiveness:
"Also very responsive to adding new courses within 1 or 2 days, where ever I have requested."
"Great app with extensive Golf Courses in Toronto. I asked for a new course and it was added the next day."

Why pay to upgrade those "free" golf apps, when you can upgrade to Protos Golf Caddy for FREE!
No subscription fees. No need to pay for "advanced" features like precision distances to green centers.
This app is as free as it gets!

Impressive These guys answered my club request right away! The GPS points per course are plentiful and accurate. The range finder is simple to use and rivals any dedicated device you'd pay for (and I've had a few). Scorecards are free and not limited (unlike other "free" alternatives out there). Recommended.
