Automatic feature helps to preset rulers on the picture quickly with further manual adjustment for accurate measurements..

Pupillary Distance is needed when you want to order eyeglasses. Now you can measure it yourself using this app or ask your friend to measure your PD. You have options to estimate the PD automatically and tune the measurement manually.
Millimeters or inches are used to show the results.
The black magnetic stripe on cards (e.g credit card) is used as a reference for measurements. You can also estimate the pupil distance without any reference - in this case Face Mode is to be used. - automatic detection

- two different measurement units: mm and inches
- ability to adjust alignment manually
- Zoom View for accurate alignment
- auxiliary lines and points for segment height (bifocal), monocular (center to bridge) and frame measurements
monocular measurements (O.D and O.S.)

Inconsistent and inaccurate I respect the idea and the work that was put into it but it's way too inconsistent to be trusted. Never found my pupils and using manual mode was very difficult for me. It's easier and more accurate to just use a ruler and have someone measure the distance while you focus on an object.

Easy it's not After trying at least 15 times taking a picture of myself in different bright rooms, I still couldn't get a picture where both the pupils and the creditcard where recognized. This was quite frustrating. Then I went outside and tried it again, this worked much better and gave pretty consistent measures. Since I rather have an app that's a little difficult to work with but precise and since there are not many online alternatives, I rate it 4 stars. However, be prepared to try it a couple times outside.

Thanks This app is very well done. My lighting wasn't so good and I did have to use manual mode, but it allows you to really fine tune it. I'm going to trust the accuracy and went ahead and ordered. The only problem was that I had to scan 3 credit cards because I kept dropping them in the toilet while I was peeing and didn't want to pick them up yet. Do not use this app while peeing!
