Was that a quake or just a big truck driving by? What magnitude do you think that was?
If you are from New Zealand, no doubt you've probably found yourself asking these questions to your partner or mates each time the floor shimmies. Well, ask no more! With QuakeNotify you don't even have to look at your smartphone thanks to voice driven notifications that will alert you when earthquake events have occurred along with their rated magnitude.

Unlike other apps that retrieve worldwide data from various research services that are infrequently updated throughout the day and result in delayed event notification, QuakeNotify offers access to GeoNet event data. This means the best real-time earthquake data within the New Zealand region where earthquake activity is prevalent. QuakeNotify will let you be the first to know magnitude, depth, and distance of that quake you just felt... without having to run to your PC to do a search on GeoNet! And with built-in Google Maps functionality, you can easily, and quickly, see exactly where current and previous earthquake epicentres originate.

QuakeNotify also gives you the ability to watch seismic trends develop over time by retaining quake data for future analysis. Event data is displayed with an easy 'magnitude-at-a-glance' colour scheme and can be viewed in various ways with the built-in charting features.

With the 'Spectator' mode, you can watch regional areas of New Zealand, where friends or family may reside, and be notified of any earthquake activity around those regions.

With QuakeNotify you only get the earthquake notifications you want. All regional earthquake data is retained, but with customized quake filtering, only those that you are interested in will generate notifications to your smartphone.

If you're from New Zealand, know friends or family in New Zealand, or just want to keep up-to-date with the Kiwi's geographic activity, QuakeNotify is the perfect earthquake alert mobile app for you! Install it today!
