Quick Tap is the smart choice for the smart generation.

What you need to get started:
1. You can get Quick Tap if you’re an Orange customer and you’ve bought a Samsung Galaxy SIII or a Samsung Galaxy SIII LTE directly from us.

2. You’ll need to check your version of Android software installed on your phone. To do this, go into your phone settings menu >> about device. The “Android version” will show “4.1.2” if you have the correct version of software. If you have any other version, you need to update your phone to use Quick Tap.
Your phone may support software updates wirelessly (you can check this by going into your phone settings menu >> About device >> Software update >> Update). Beware, data charges may apply, so you may want to wait until you are in a WiFi area.
If the wireless option is not available on your phone, don’t worry, it can also be done by downloading the KIES software onto your PC from the Samsung website, then plugging your phone into your computer.

3. Lastly you must have a NFC Quick Tap SIM. If you need to order one of these, simply contact us on 150 from your mobile.
If you have all this then you can download the Quick Tap Wallet and register with the Barclaycard payment app, linking a credit/debit card to your account. Finally just remember to switch off your wifi before you start downloading the wallet. Data charges may apply.

oh man! Galaxy S4 When I launched the application, it said I need a quick tap compatible SIM. I was on the phone with Orange 3 times and no one in the UK or India knew what I was talking about, finally level 2 support came on the phone and told me the requirements: 1) You need an orange branded handset 2) With Orange baseband version with the letters 'EVR' in it but my phone is not an Orange branded phone, so end of story! But he gave me some advice on how to order a new SIM, i.e. sms the word NANO to 150.

Clueless Support If the app actually works you could have fooled me. Tried several times to get it to work with a Visa Card but keeps asking me to call an 0844 number. Called it and was immediately put through to EE Support. I always dread calling this lot as you will probably be put through to the Indian Call Centre. The possibililty of finding someone at that call centre having any intelligence to resolve an issue is extremely unlikely. Actually, nigh on impossible. And so it was the operator I spoke with did not a clue what I was talking about, so I gave up. EE Support and an ashtray on a motorbike have about the same usefulness! Good idea, shame about the implementation.

This is hard work... Spoken to Orange 5 times, 5 different people havent a clue what the quick tap nfc sim is. Received 3 normal sims so far.... Update: Received correct SIM now but can't register. I get as far as accepting the terms & conditions then I get an error and a number to call where the staff are f##king useless.
