Quicky Transit (was QuickMuni)

Quicky Transit, formerly QuickMuni: SF Muni and AC Transit bus/train real-time arrivals, maps, and more — quickly! See all the closest stops near you, and all the routes that serve them. Tap on a route to get a map with stops and GPS vehicle locations, or set an alarm to let you know when your ride is five minutes away. And, keep your favorite stops at your fingertips!

I created Quicky just for the SF Bay Area, and just for Android. I hope you like it!

- See the next buses and trains arriving at nearby stops, based on live GPS data

- Tap on any route icon to see a live map with route, vehicle locations, and all stops

- Alarms! Tap on predictions to set up an alarm.

- Search! Enter a Stop ID # or intersection to get arrivals at just one platform.

- Amazingly simple user interface -- Android only, and better than any Muni app your iFriends have

- No ads, no user tracking, and completely free.

Quicky sorts everything nearby and always shows the closest street corners and stations first. So, all at once you can see every route that serves a stop. You click less and get what you need faster.

Designed just for Android! You'll feel right at home using Quicky. SFMTA Muni and AC Transit data feed come from the NextMuni web service.

See the Quicky webpage at http://plus.google.com/104312883312752023774 for more information. Cheers!

Very good but need improvements Google maps shows city's public transporatation routes that doesn't exist! This app used to validate routes. For example, google maps shows bus route 101x to sf bridge but no such Muni bus route exist! Unsure how google is obtaining inaccurate route data. Don't trust google 100%. Double check with other sources....SF Quicky was used in SF. Quicky app highly recpmmended. I Had issues with side route menu . Sometimes it doesnt appear.

Big help! I love this app! I used it casually before. Now I commute on muni metro and this app has been indispensable! Being able to see the timing of the next few trains coming minimizes wasted time at the stop. I have found it to be quite accurate. Thank you!

Works great! All my favorites in one spot! Love having all my favorite stops in one place. The real time countdown as buses move is very handy. Less tapping to get the info you need. Would be cool to bookmark your favorite lines and directions.
