R2R

R2R

You are in your car, late for work and still two children to drop off for kindergarten. Your boss is calling to tell you that it's of crucial importance that you make contact with an important customer as soon as you arrive. By experience you know that instructions given to you in stressed situations are usually forgotten. So you start fiddling with your phone to activate your calendar to schedule an appointment and an alarm. Ok... you got it now?

Everybody knows it's cumbersome and time consuming to add an event to any calendar on any phone or pc. In the old days (so they say) they tied a string on their finger to be sure to remember what they should remember.

R2R is the digital answer to the string of the finger, but better and faster!

If you get an important message, but don't have the time to add it to your calendar, activate R2R and you soon will be reminded that there was something you should remember.

R2R collects important information about the situation you were in at the time when the string on the finger was tied.
* Date and time
* Location (if available)
* The current weather (if available)
* The last incoming call
* The last outgoing call
* The last missed call
* The last outgoing SMS
* The last incoming SMS

An event is created in one or more of your calendars (optional), and an alarm will be set to go off 45 minutes after the string on finger was tied. The description text contains the basic information about the situation you were in when the string on finger was created, and will probably help you remember the actual message.

Since R2R creates a standard calendar event, you can of course edit the title, location, date and description as you wish in your calendar to make the event more "readable" when things has calmed down.

*R2R is optimized for HTC Desire with Android 2.2 and 2.3
*Requires a calendar on the device
*Should be compatible with Android 1.6 and newer.

Please note that in despite of the "scary" permissions you have to agree to, R2R do not log, collect or distribute any of the information on your phone. The permissions you give is solely used to give an detailed overview of the situation you were in when the sting was tied on your finger, and will never be abused in any way by R2R!

IDK This may be a useful app but since it demands a calendar and doesn't recognise the default Calendar app on my phone (Sony Xperia L), it's not working out for me. When R2R asks me to install a calendar and I tap the "Proceed" button, nothing happens and when I start R2R again a few seconds later I get error messages stating that Google Play Store and R2R have crashed. Both, the default Calendar app as well as the Google Play Store work just fine when I use them manually, so I don't know what's wrong. All I'd really need though is the calendar notification including the time of its creation, nothing else like calls/SMS etc. As it is now, I prefer my voice recorder app or a manual note over the way R2R manages so far.

Great App Great app. I have been using this for a short period and it is doing what I expected. What I would like to see is the calendar reminders to come in as private. Many people have access to my calendar and I don't necessairly want them to know my entire calling history.

Very useful. Helps you remember with a click Nice software. When your hands are tied up or you are in a hurry this is a genius piece of software. With a single click the app gathers lots of information which helps you to remember that you should remember something :-) It saves this info automatically and puts it in a calender of your choice. Later on it alerts you that you should remember someting, and then you may edit the calender event with more details or do whatever you were supposed to. Very helpful. I vote for voice recording in future release
