With U.S. Remote Deposit, you truly can take the bank with you wherever you go! It’s a convenient service that lets you use your smart phone or personal computer with a scanner and internet connection to safely make electronic deposits to your RBC Bank checking or savings account.

* Call 1-800 ROYAL 5-3 (1-800-769-2553) to enroll
* Visit rbcbank.com and click on the remote deposit link to
establish your sign-in protection
* Download the mobile application for your smartphone
Then, when you’re ready to make a deposit:
-Open the “U.S. Remote Deposit” application
-Log in to the U.S. Remote Deposit application using your
secure username and personal identification number (PIN)
-Select "Deposit"
-Enter the amount of the deposit and the account in which
you’d like to make it
-Take a picture of the front and back of the check
-Submit your deposit
-Select "Review" to see the deposit confirmation
-Log out
It’s that easy! As soon as you complete your deposit, we’ll
send you an e-mail to let you know we’ve received it. Then,
once your deposit has been fully processed and credited to
your account, we’ll send you a final e-mail confirmation.
U.S. Remote Deposit for smartphone users also lets you:
* Use your mobile application to view the past five days of
deposit activity
* Log in to the U.S. Remote Deposit website to view more
history and complete searches.

Disappointed As a US resident who receives US pay, I'd love to be able to use RBC Bank US as my primary bank and switch my payroll direct deposit to my RBC US account. Unfortunely, the only app for US accounts is remote deposit. Having a full feature mobile banking app is a make or break deal for me. I will sadly have to keep using my other bank for payroll and using RBC US as a secondary account and to mainly transfer money to my RBC Canada account, which DOES have a mobile banking app. RBC, please make a US app!

Password doesn't work It used to crash on my old phone (customer support said the phone was the problem and it wasn't getting fixed). Haven't been able to test it on my new phone since I cannot login anymore. Password works fine on the web, but not in the app.
