reMind Alarm Clock

reMind Alarm Clock

Optimal notification system for drugs reminders, exercises, workouts and other repeating events.

Original Alarm Clock idea based on repeating notifications. You can setup a pattern for reminders depending on how urgent and important event is.
Now you do not need to snooze alarm clock and can easily finish current tasks and only then disable future notifications.

Some tips:
- repeat on days of month can not be set up on 29, 30 or 31 to be sure that alarm triggers every month (28 is the minimal number of days in month).
- reMind cares about battery life, it does not require to be always running. That is why widget is not updating very often and shows only approximate time left to event.
- please do not use long lasting melodies as notification sound. There are no actual restrictions, but reMind is designed to play something short on event trigger unlike classic alarms.

Recent changes:
v. 1.31
- last trigger time info line is back

User reviews of reMind Alarm Clock
I wanted a simple alarm app to replace "Alarm Clock Plus", which is a bloated 2.8MB. reMind is only 216KB installed. But on balance, I think "Alarm Klock" (340KB installed) fits the bill better. This app does have some interesting innovations, like fortnightly alarms, but generally they were too quirky for me. I also found the default settings too restrictive and you can't save your preferred settings - you have to change them every time you set up a new alarm. It seems to me it's just a variation on calendar alerts rather than an alarm clock. But for me, it's neither a calendar nor a proper alarm clock. Don't get me wrong - its a neatly designed and executed app - I'm just not clear what need it fulfils. Or perhaps I just don't get it!

Perfect activity reminder Need a poke on a fixed time interval to get off my chair and be active. Works for me. Easy to programme, well done

Not for Waking Up This is a good alarm for reminders but I was planning on using it to wake up in the mornings, as it's advertised. It only has one beep or chime tones so I know that won't work for me. It's still good for reminders throughout your day if you'd like.

Makes a sound but doesn't vibrate. Puts text onscreen but it's tiny would give 2 stars but it is free. So good value for money.

best, but repeating alarms are often shown as missed and then disabled !
