Reminders

Reminders

Reminders is an intuitive and simple, yet very powerful, to-do list manager.
There are no complicated options to set up. Even better: there are no options to choose from, all you need is at your fingertip!

Besides, Reminders allows you to fully and bidirectionally synchronise with Google Task. You can have both a backup of your tasks in the cloud and an easy way to manage them when you cannot access your Android device!
However Reminders doesn't force you to synchronise with Google if you don't want. There's a switch you can use to enable or disable the online synchronisation - and it's off by default.

Reminders allows you to manage all your Google accounts and it works even if you choose to be offline.

Reminders relies heavily on gestures:
* swipe a task to the left or to the right to delete it
* reorder tasks by drag and drop (only when "Sort by due date" checkbox is not checked)
* long press on the name of a task list to rename or delete it

Features:
- manages multiple Google accounts
- manages multiple lists of tasks
- bidirectionally synchronises with Google Tasks (optional)
- works both offline (default) and online
- tasks can have priorities
- you can search for tasks and create, if you want, a new list from the search results
- allows you to sort out tasks manually
- allows you to set reminders (even recurring ones)
- you can import text via standard Android sharing
- recognises URLs, phone numbers, email addresses and street addresses inside task and launch your default app when you tap on one of them
- allows you to quick insert a new task with only the title (typing it on the keyboard or though voice command) or with full details (only through keyboard)
- last, but not least, Reminders has NO ADS!

Starting from July 2015, Reminders is open source! You can find the sources on this github repository https://github.com/danielebufarini/Reminders

I wanted an app that would allow me to add folders that I could keep different kinds of tasks in. I went to the screen for adding folders and touched the "+" icon for adding folders - with no response. If I can't add folders, the app is useless. I have Android 4.1. It also makes me wonder what else is wrong with the app. Will it delete tasks I don't want deleted, or do some other bad thing? I don't know. I had been using "Out of Milk Pro" for a long time, and the latest update wiped out most of my important data and eliminated all my folders and grouped everything in one big "to do" folder. Foolishly I trusted Out of Milk app to not lose anything, so I lost some important data. They have a cloud backup service, but that was messed up also. So I'm afraid to trust this app, since the very first thing I tried to do on it (make a simple folder) failed. I'm writing this long review because I note the author answers people pretty quickly. The Out of Milk people don't respond. So maybe there is hope for this app and I can happily change my star rating.

Simply did not work Installed, set a ringtone to play, created a reminder, and when the time came nothing happened. No sound, no popup to foreground, nothing (Android 5.1 Lollipop). Retested twice, with different tones, same (lack of) results. Worthless. Uninstalled.

Its pretty good - needs update I'm one who really likes continuity with material design throughout the OS. I would appreciate it if there could be an update to make this app follow the material design theme. Other than that, I like how simple it is to add a reminder. That is what I was looking for.

Useless for V685, since it doesn't actually give a notification or start an alarm or anything. Edit: I don't know how to reply to you, my device is VF685. I appreciate your quick response
