Has potential I initially posted a rash 1 star review based on a time poor occasion when all I had was a tablet and needed to plot a ride in double quick time. I discovered the app is more about logging rides at present. However the chief developer kindly wrote to me explaining they are working on a more functionally rich app which will permit route planning. Hurrah!

Ride with GPS Still learning the features but after using for about a month I enjoy using on my rides.

Great app, great potential I used to use Endomondo for my stats, and Google Maps for my turn-by-turn navigation... this app does both so I no longer need to use 2 separate apps!!! Google Maps has a cycling option but tends to throw you down none-paved cycle paths which is only really good enough for mountain bikes (not road bikes) but if you change settings to 'car' it sends you down main A roads (unsafe!). RideWithGPS gives me much better B-roads for cycling on.. it avoids very busy roads and none-paved roads by default! Brilliant! For all of the above I would give it 5 starts! I have given it 4 because the 'turn screen on for cues' option does not work on my HTC One (M7) and it would be good to have a birds-eye view for the turn-by-turn navigation like other GPS apps, instead of the direct from above approach.

I wish I could give less than one star. Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid. Not user friendly at all. I have actually refused to go on rides that use this piece of crap.
