Rotation Lock Adaptive

Rotation Lock Adaptive

This is the paid version of Rotation Lock Adaptive with additional features and customization.

If you use the free version often enough, please consider buying the paid version

Main features:

Adaptive rotation - if you find automatic screen rotation annoying then this app is for you. It will detect the device's orientation and show a transparent button to let you decide whether the screen should be rotated to landscape or portrait

Lock the screen in landscape or portrait - it will lock the screen the way you want even when some apps don't offer certain orientation

Increase productivity - unnecessary rotation will distract you and interrupt your workflow!

Power saving - every screen rotation will involve a lot of computation. By reducing unnecessary rotation the battery will last a bit longer

There are 8 modes which can be chosen in notification area
1. Adaptive mode - detect the device's orientation and prompt you whether to rotate the orientation
2. Landscape - force the orientation in landscape
3. Portrait - force the orientation in portrait
4. Reverse Portrait - force the orientation in reverse portrait
5. Reverse Landscape - force the orientation in reverse Landscape
6. Force auto - automatically rotate the screen in all orientation
7. Stock auto - exactly the same as original auto mode
8. Stock portrait - exactly the same as original portrait mode

Below are the features which the free version does not include:
Per app setting - individual apps can be set to stock mode if they have problems with force landscape mode
custom-sized overlay button which is shown in adaptive mode
Hide notification icon

Thanks for update to hide icon again in lollipop. Just because it looks like it was designed and built years ago, like a fine whiskey or an old Honda Civic it still works so much better than stock.

Stutters for a while on cyanogenmod 12 lollipop atm (snapdragon 800) if you set it to switch to portrait when you go back to Google launcher

Not much better than free version I used the free version before I got the paid version for per-app modes but that doesn't work. The graphic bug on the icon in the middle bugs out and bothers me enough to go back to the free version (which doesn't have this bug?!). So nothing really else that matters for paying for this version, other than supporting the developer. Rotation Lock Adaptive (free and paid) both work well, for what it does and I love it especially when I check my phone in bed/watch videos.

Works well. Dated user interface. Please replace the transparent button with a material design floating action button

Awsome App! After rooting my Galaxy Note & removing 6 GB's of crapware using Titanium Backup, including Samsung Hub, the rotation didn't work any longer. It was stuck in portrait mode permanently. Guess I should have left that Hub alone, as removing it broke the rotate feature. (Ahh, yes - gotta love those dynamic link libraries; they're often connected to each other) This handy little dandy app not only fixed the rotation issue, but it has some really neat features I'm gonna use and love. Well worth the 2 bucks.
