Saga — Automatic Lifelogging

Saga — Automatic Lifelogging

Saga is a powerful new kind of utility that lets your Android device keep track of everywhere you've gone -- all without you having to check in.

Saga can help automate tasks through its integration with IFTTT. With Saga + IFTTT, you can automatically:

* Turn off the lights at home when you're at work
* Text your friends when you've arrived at the bar
* Keep a list of all of the restaurants you've visited on vacation
* Silence your ringer when you're at a library
* Remind you to get gas when you're near a gas station

HOW DOES SAGA WORK?
Saga uses the sensors on your Android device to create a personal journal known as a "lifelog". The lifelog Saga builds for you provides a rich summary of the places you've gone, how long you've been there, and the things you've done at each location. You can enrich your lifelog with photos, personalized notes, videos, and data from your other favorite services (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Runkeeper, Withings, Fitbit, or TripIt).

WILL SAGA KILL MY BATTERY?
No. Unlike other location tracking apps, Saga will not drain your battery. Typical users are getting about 24 hours of battery life while running Saga. If you think that your battery life is being compromised by running Saga, contact us at [email protected] We want to hear from you!

We take your privacy very seriously.

Saga will never ever sell, rent, or give away the personal data we collect on your behalf. Really. We use the data we collect to make sure that your lifelog is as accurate as it can be -- and that your battery lasts as long as possible. That's it.

Great idea 5 stars for the concept and in general it delivers on execution as well. It does what it's designed to do and does so autonomously which makes it a killer app. Certainly there a few bugs 1) it doesn't always nail your exact location (although its easy to correct) 2) some of the apps such as fitbit don't seem to be able to connect. Also the presentation of the information is uninspired. If a company such a Google bought it and made a capital investment to take this to the next level it would be awesome.

Does as advertised except does not work with IFTTT, but with occasional glitches, such as constant need to log into FB, fails to update edits.

Like the app but...... I've been unable to export data for weeks. Tried the in app help and never received a response. Have tried both calendar and json export options.

Has gone down hill I did love this app, but now it is constantly asking for Facebook login, this is making the app practically unusable. Either take Facebook out, or get it to remember it's been authorised!

I have used this app for about 8 months. Generally works well. I had to factory restore my phone last week. Not a big problem and when I checked with the faq on there website all I had to do was log back in to my account and all my life logs would be restored. When I reinstalled the app and tried to login, it reported that my password was not correct. Clicked the link to recover the password, got an email from them with a link to change my password, but it didn't work. I have since sent 4 emails to there support email address with no response. I am giving a bad review, not because the app doesn't work, but because the developer seems to be a worthless piece of S**T for not at least sending me a response. I would not recommend this app to anyone due to the horrible lack of any customer service. I would give it less than one star, if that were possible.
