Saga — Automatic Lifelogging

Saga — Automatic Lifelogging

Saga is a powerful new kind of utility that lets your Android device keep track of everywhere you've gone -- all without you having to check in.

Saga can help automate tasks through its integration with IFTTT. With Saga + IFTTT, you can automatically:

* Turn off the lights at home when you're at work
* Text your friends when you've arrived at the bar
* Keep a list of all of the restaurants you've visited on vacation
* Silence your ringer when you're at a library
* Remind you to get gas when you're near a gas station

HOW DOES SAGA WORK?
Saga uses the sensors on your Android device to create a personal journal known as a "lifelog". The lifelog Saga builds for you provides a rich summary of the places you've gone, how long you've been there, and the things you've done at each location. You can enrich your lifelog with photos, personalized notes, videos, and data from your other favorite services (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Runkeeper, Withings, Fitbit, or TripIt).

WILL SAGA KILL MY BATTERY?
No. Unlike other location tracking apps, Saga will not drain your battery. Typical users are getting about 24 hours of battery life while running Saga. If you think that your battery life is being compromised by running Saga, contact us at [email protected] We want to hear from you!

We take your privacy very seriously.

Saga will never ever sell, rent, or give away the personal data we collect on your behalf. Really. We use the data we collect to make sure that your lifelog is as accurate as it can be -- and that your battery lasts as long as possible. That's it.

Times incorrect. The Times don't match my calendar. What's up with that? Great concept. Considering deleting

Newest update is terrible! Since the latest update, I can't see any of friends I follow. This app also drains the battery more since the update. Please fix or give us the option to use the last version.

Was my favorite app before last update. 5 stars to 1 star This app was probably the best feature on my phone at one time. With its integration with IFTTT, I would track workouts, dinners at restaurants etc to my calendar. Now, since the update, I have gaps in my lifelog spanning days. Trying to edit/enter entries, nearly unnecessary in the past, has now become required and is nearly impossible with the existing UI. I hope a fix is coming as there is nothing close to this app's functionality to my knowledge.

What happened?! This used to be one of the most gorgeous apps in the store. The unique cool blue scheme was beautiful. Now I feel like I've regressed six years into 2008 - the design is all too reminiscent of Android 2.0-era apps. Tracking is unreliable as ever and the team isn't listening to our feedback. Avoid.

Needs better editing options Saga is awesome and I love the idea of it. However, a lot of my data ends up wrong because I am typically in a car on my workplace's campus. My evening commute data is often merged with the last time I'm in a car at work. There needs to be a way to split these and also edit the times of events manually for better accuracy. Otherwise there isn't much point of lifelogging.
