Piece of Junk 2.5 months old. Camera stopped recording detected motion. What good is it if it cannot record motion. Returning for refund!

Kindof a love-hate. It works most of the time. Motion detection is hit-miss, seemingly more sensitive to cross-motion, as opposed to motion that is moving in the near/far direction. It misses a lot of instances of motion within the fields that I set up. We are unable to see "live" images or recorded videos by phone or when using a remote wifi when we are out. This could be because of my own internet speed. Viewing is alright when using it on the home wifi. Being a 1080p capable device, I expected better images. The app should have a way to archive video - save it. I know you can catch "live" video and send to your phone/device, but there is no way to export or save a video/motion event from the SD card to your phone or PC. If you needed to show someone the video, it is not possible. I have not popped out the SD card to check the file format yet. (.mov, .mp4, .mpeg). I expect that the format is unique to Samsung. The actual Samsung Smart Cam site should have a feedback area. The effort to resolve issues is sadly poor. Should have more firmware enhancements/updates. I could see the 2-star becoming a 4-star, if this could be fixed. There is always the COSTCO return policy.

Application has dropped the connection Using with 4G LTE and Wifi network. Application drops the connection every 5-10 minutes. So, user won't get the motioin / audio alerts. It is very disappointed. Samsung should fix this issue within 2 months. Else, I am going to return the camera to Costco. If Samsung fix the connection issue mentioned above, I will give 5 stars. For now, DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG SECURITY CAMERA.

Great idea/delay sucks! I originally loved the idea of this camera for our baby monitor. I thought it would be great to be ablDown two more pounds for a total of 6.8 pounds.e to see/hear my daughter from work. It is summer time now so I am home with my daughter and this camera has about a 3 minute delay 85% of the time! That is not safe...I do not think it is safe to have as a baby camera until this is fixed.
