Android apps There are 2 apps in the Google Play store: San Jose Mercury News and San Jose Mercury News e-edition. After 30 articles in a month, the first one wants me to log in or pay a fee. I try to log in with my e-news subscription but it doesn't take it. Is it not part of the e-news I paid for? And why are there 2 android apps in the first place, both published by the same vendor? Which one(s) is under the web based e-news, if any?

Late night notifications suck! There needs to be a way to turn off notifications. Why would someone design an app that way?

Stop the notifications! Or let me Doesn't allow notification push to be disabled. Uninstalled. Who made that design choice?
