Get a head start with seismic hazard analysis on the move with mobile devices!!!

Indian subcontinent is not homogeneous with respect to its seismogenic characters and hence engineers have to use seismological approaches to estimate the hazard parameters. A map of epicenters superposed on fault lines is one of the key component of seismic hazard analysis.

This application serves as a dynamic platform providing information about all the earthquakes(historic and instrumental) and PSHA values in India. It provides on touch event informations such as moment magnitude , location , date , time etc.. It dynamically computes the design response spectra as per IBC 2009 for A, B, C, D & E type soil classification.

Application Highlights:
* Epicenter catalog
* Fault line with type
* NDMA-PSHA results for 0.2 X 0.2 grid
* IBC 2009 design response spectra

Note: **The application requires ONE-TIME INTERNET connectivity for buffering google maps after installation**
** If the number of earthquake to be displayed is high it shall take a while, kindly wait for "Load Complete" message **

Ok Very slow ,More data is necessary and no details on south India(might be not so vulnerable as regions near Himalayas). Real time update of earthquakes in the Indian subcontinent will give complete pictures. For example USGS plug in Google Earth.kindly check it.
