Sharky Shopping

Sharky Shopping is simple and powerful. Using the tried-and-true principle of a "grocery price book" Sharky Shopping helps you make sure you're getting the best deal. Using Sharky Shopping you can track the best price you have paid for an item. When you go shopping or when you look through your weekly ads you can compare the prices you see there to the lowest prices you have paid. Once you see a true good deal, buy in bulk.

It can even be used to automatically generate shopping lists for you!

To get started:

1) Add items that you shop for commonly to Sharky Shopping's Price List.
2) For each item, record some of the prices you have paid before. You now have the list that gives you the power to find the best deals.
3) Look at ads and compare your recorded "best prices per unit" against the current market.
4) Buy only at the best price and buy in bulk. That way you get the biggest bang for your buck! Record that price, and you willl have a new "best price per unit"
5) Repeat this, buying what you need in bulk and over time you will see your bills get lower and lower!

Great App, does exactly what I want in a price book! It's easy to create items, and when you enter multiple prices, the app automatically calculates the best price, the worst price, and the midpoint price of what you've seen/paid. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to use price book app!

Huh? Makes no sense to me. Can't even figure out how to make different lists!

Needs a few tweaks. Need to be able to enter/edit date price was entered. Need to be able to enter items ACTUAL data (size, quantity, price, etc) then let the app calculate the unit price. The ability to link similar items to view in a list at once would be a bonus (for example: fresh green beans vs frozen vs canned). Without at least the edit date option, can't be used to its fullest.

One little thing is missing You can log the items to keep track of unit prices but you're not allowed to define weight or amount per pack, in other words, minimum amount you can buy. For example $0.8/lb for flour is a clear info but one should also be allowed to write down it comes in 5 lb. pack and $4 has to be paid. Other than that, quite simple and easy to use app. UI can be improved to appeal users.
