Shutter Count

Shutter Count

Shutter Count helps you check the total number of shutter actuations and the serial number (Nikon only) of your Nikon or Sony DSLR on Android devices. It is pretty useful when you are checking a camera, especially a used one, before buying it. You can check the Shutter Count through loading a JPEG or RAW file into the app.

This app supports a wide variety of Nikon and Sony DSLRs. However, please ensure that the JPEG or RAW file you loaded into this app is an unedited output from the camera.

Special thanks to Drew Noakes for creating an excellent Java library Metadata Extractor.

I don't rate apps. And will most likely never rate one again. But these guys deserve my time. After my D80 was stolen, along with my truck. I replaced it with a D700, a great camera to step up and go pro shooting weddings. I only shoot a wedding or two a month, along with some large events and a few environmental portrait sessions. Had the camera for 2 years, I have been dying to know how many times I pulled the trigger. 20 seconds after install, boom. D700 88209 clicks. Kinda blew my mind. Perfect. Thanks.
