Lacks basic functionality IoS allows you to search single issue or archive. Android app seems to have forgotten the archive option, which makes it no easier than rifling through a stack of back numbers. Very disappointing.

Poorly Designed I like Sight & Sound as a magazine but this app is poorly designed. There is no way to return to the place you were reading. You have to remember where you were - I don't think there is any other reading app that doesn't have bookmarking. At my age I need to enlarge the text to read the small print and the screen redrawing is very slow and I have to do it for every page An option to use a larger font would be useful. Since my local Barnes & Noble no longer carries the magazine I thought this would be a good alternative. It isn't - I guess it's time to shell out for a paper subscription.

Okay but could be better Sight & Sound is the best movie movie magazine there is. This app is functional but vertical scrolling is very jerky. Adobe Acrobat offers a superior reading experience and is much smoother. Also subscriptions are £34.99 via this app but only £30 via the magazine's website where you can download PDF backups.

Brilliant way to read the msg Why isn't this app being advertised? I found it by chance while frustrated that seemingly only the iPad could benefit from the digital subscription properly. This is very smooth and quick so far and should be offered more willingly.
