Simple Optical Design is a quick way to layout optical designs as a 'first approximation'. It is intended for optics students and professionals to mock up simple lens trains without the need for knowledge of more professional tools such as Zeemax(TM). Simple Optical Design uses the 'ABCD matrix' ray transfer method to propagate a ray through a system.
Arrange lenses, spacers, and refractive index step surfaces, and then plot the results.

1.5.6 - Fixed a bug related to the "next waist" Gaussian optics calculations. Added more file information to the load/save interface and improved the UI.
1.5.0 - Added features: Settings page. Use Complex Beam Parameter to determine the Gaussian propagation through the system. Choose between degrees and radians when entering and editing.
