Asha Kirkby is one of the highest qualified and experienced skate instructors in the world. She is a trainer of instructors worldwide for the ICP (Inline Certification Programme) and has taught thousands to skate in her UK skate school Skatefresh in London and Brighton. As an ex-figure skater in her teens, Asha has been skating for 30 years. These lessons are the culmination of her years of experience teaching and skating. Her teaching style is unique, direct and to the point and has been tested on many students with great success. Put an instructor in your pocket and see how much easier it all becomes. Let your practice time be truly useful and productive. You can only relax on your skates when your technique is good and you are skating well. This is when it flows, when your skates feel like part of you (and not separate). Your skating will then make you feel vibrant and alive.

Great when it works Asha Kirkby has cornered the market on the four P’s: Professionalism, personality, precision and perfection. As advertised, she precisely breaks down each skill and encourages perfecting each one before adding speed and combinations. A thorough professional, Asha delights the American ear with the sound of intelligently spoken British-English. Her serious manner, dotted with the occasional smile, conveys confidence and the simple joy of doing what she loves. I give Asha five stars, but, alas, I can give her app only three. Both three-turn lessons would not play on my device. My email to technical support went unanswered. Asha, please give your technical boys a pep talk. Or, the next time you visit Disney, come skate with all your fans in the Orlando area. I will be expecting a three-turn lesson.

good with some problems... The intention of the app is what it says but then there comes some technical problems... (1) the video instruction clips stay too small on the centre of the screen, they do NOT stretch to fill the phone's sreeen, (2) true to the lessons there are only THREE video clips, ONLY three, this is the version 1.0 last updated 19 March 2013. - With this version 1.0, I am feeling a tiny bit of regret (: As I have used the app (although for a very short time), I strongly advice you to check the version number before you click that buy button. - using on Nexus 5 (Android v. 4.4.2)
