User reviews of SkEye | Astronomy
it is the only android astronomy app with promise based on authors stated future plans. This looks like this will be the first astro app with more deepsky objects then then the messier (use SAC database not NGC). Hope this will evolve to what android astroware should be and is very capable of having.

Works well with my AZ4 I knocked out a wooden adapter to secure my SAMSUNG S3 to my SW100ED scope on AZ4 mount - and this app transformed it into a pretty decent push to system. Will be upgrading to pro now

Versatile and beautifully designed This is the best, free, Sky map app I've come across. Features like RA / declination , alt / azimuth, and dynamic information about labels and magnitude of all celestial bodies makes it as good as any desktop application. And yeah, its ad-free!

O wow This is the best app ever. Totally amazing. I like the time machine part too. Is there any way of typing in the date to see what the stars were like, say on 25th December 2 BC? Rather than skipping through the months? Fantastic app.
