Skitch uses the contacts permissions in order to populate the email field when sending a PDF. This permission lets Skitch use your local address book so you can easily send an email by simply typing someone's name.

It lacks stability, a crucial feature for large documents You need to really work on stability, it's hardly reliable making it worthless. I love how the annotation feature works with Evernote but if I can't trust in skitch to make annotations to my lectures I'd have to look for something else.
