Slitherlink

Slitherlink

In a Slitherlink puzzle your goal is to form a single loop through the game field using numerical clues.

In addition to classic square grids of different sizes and difficulties this implementation of Slitherlink offers hexagon, pentagon and mixed grids. Try solving those, it may require different ways of thinking than with squares.

Automatic coloring of clues and lines helps thinking, but can be turned off for more classic look and tougher challenge.

Highly addictive game and definitely works your brain cells!

This is by far the best Slitherlink application. It may not be as shiny looking as the other, but who cares about that. It has colored lines which makes managing the different line segments much much easier. It also has multiple shapes of grids, (Squares, kites, honeycombs). It has tons of puzzles and the developer frequently updates it. This app is amazing.

Good but some unsolvable I have to reduce by two because the author didn't check that all puzzles are solvable. Example Honeycomb/Medium/Medium #107, you can see it immediately at the 0-0 pattern.

Machine generated puzzles? An excellent implementation. Bookmark/Reset functionality works very well. But I think the puzzles are machine generated. After a while they're all the same, sort of. The human made puzzles published by nikoli have a different feel, where many of the puzzles have a certain theme, or there is some geometric pattern to discover, etc. I'd be willing to pay a little extra to get a collection of hand made puzzles.

Grid type on this app Awesome puzzle. I like the way it break the traditional style, the squares type. Every different type of grid will have different kinds of way to solve it. It is getting more and more "fun", when you choose the grid size, like huge size. I do also like the record of time(although no all of the puzzle have it) after you finish a puzzle.
