High Dynamic Range (HDR)

HDR is a feature that lets you take pictures of scenes with very dark and very light areas. The app takes two photos at different exposures and combines them to make one HDR photo. By default the app will save the original exposures and open an HDR editor but this behaviour can be changed from the settings menu.

See here for details of HDR:

Some features are only available on newer devices.

Camera apps are notoriously difficult to make compatible with all hardware.
Please install and test the trial version first before you buy the paid app.

This app will install 2 icons in your launcher, one for the Gallery and one for the Camera. Some launchers also put the Gallery icon on your home screen.

Note that most android 4.4 devices do not allow apps to store data on an external sd card except to an area that is deleted when the app in uninstalled. From the storage location dialog, select "external sd card" to use this area. But remember that if you uninstall the app all your photos will be deleted.

Fast Slick, but was hoping this app would solve the ridiculous autofocus problem that the nexus 6 suffers from... Seemed to for a while, doesn't anymore... Tried every focus setting to no avail.

This is my go to camera app. It's user friendly and contains many semi-advanced settings if you so choose. My only problem is the video recorder tends to freeze often, and even if a decent amount of the video was recorded, the saved file doesn't play like it's corrupt. But that's only if the recorder froze. It would be nice to have plug-ins to select from for extra features such as QR codes, extra effects, scene enhancements, presets for certain occasions, and like auto upload to cloud accounts, etc.... overall I love the pictures.

Great camera app. The stock app that came with my phone is horrible, and has no extra options. This app takes much clearer pictures, and has many useful options. Amazing app over all. The only thing I don't like is the gallery app. That should be a separate download...

Bug The option to "Use Camera 2 API" effectively kills the camera and stops it from taking any pictures. Don't enable this setting and the app works great

Galaxy S5 ITS BACK! This has been my #1 camera app basically since its introduction. Until I updated my phone, then things went south. Grainy, out of focus, poor quality. Uninstalled... Reinstalled about a month ago. Now I'd have to say its better than ever! MANY THANKS 😊
