Millions of Americans lead sedentary lifestyles (sitting for 9+ hours a day) due to desk jobs, or inactivity. Recent studies performed by the CDC(Center for Disease Control and Prevention) suggest that sedentary lifestyles lead to a host of health risks.
These risks include; obesity, cardiovascular disease, poor cholesterol, high blood pressure, breast and colon cancer, type 2 diabetes, and overall higher mortality rate. Due to the high health risks of compounded extended sitting, it's time for people to take a pro-active approach to maintaining a healthy and active life.

StandApp promotes healthy living by providing an alarm reminder to stand up and take a break from your desk.
StandApp includes 15 easy exercises anyone can perform at their desk during their standing breaks.
You can set the reminder interval to a custom time, we recommend a break at least every hour.

Experts say avoiding the sedentary life is mostly about remembering to be active. Even people who work a desk job for 60 hours each week can still work movement into their days — getting up for a cup of water instead of keeping one at your desk, walking down the hall to talk to a colleague rather than sending an email. StandApp keeps you accountable to this task.

Awesome idea, horrible implementation I heard about this app from an iPhone user who loves it. I would have liked to see some arm/wrist/hand stretches. Also, the replay icon covers up a lot of the text in the videos, including timing counts. I also had the same problem others mentioned with the app refusing to quit/stay exited. The constant popups forced me to uninstall. Sad, because I've been looking for an app like this for some time. Please fix!

Pop up nightmare Like this app but moo way to completely exit so even after stopping it still pops up constantly very annoying please fix

Good info but doesn't allow any control. Continues to come on even when not wanted. Needs work

Bad implementation This is a good idea, and well presented. However, is been implemented pretty badly. This app seems to wake itself up and sets itself as the foreground app every 15 minutes, even when you're not using the tracker. This is extremely annoying behaviour and breaks some other apps, such as sleep as android.
