User reviews of StayAwake
I’d rather rely on applications> development, but I can’t. This app works and is very clean, but I wish it had an option to dim the screen like the stock feature does (when it feels like it).

It works.

Love this because the Stay Awake setting is not staying enabled on a custom ROM I am using. Only problem I found is if I reboot with USB plugged in, my screen timeout changes to 10 min instead of 1 min that I have it set to. Does not occur if I reboot with USB unplugged. May be a ROM issue. Not sure.

Shady Bad app. This app, when set to "Always On" now turns off my screen after 3 seconds making it extremely difficult to uninstall ... shady bad.

Note 3 Doesn't work. It just changed setting to "()" which instantly turns off the screen as soon as I stop touching the screen.
