SunFilter - Screen Temperature

SunFilter - Screen Temperature

SunFilter allows you to set the temperature of your Android devices screen. This makes viewing a lot easier in low light conditions, as well as helps with your sleep cycle. Unnatural light cause your body to lose Melatonin, which is naturally generated to allow you to fall asleep. By toning down the screens brightness and level of white light given off, this effect is lessened.

- Allows you to set a screen filter of any colour for your Android device. It sets the screen temperature to make it easier on your eyes in lower light conditions. Unlike some other applications that are set to serve the same purpose, SunFilter does NOT require root privileges.

Currently being worked on:
-More fine-trained color adjustments
-Color pre-sets
-Temperature fading to the set Sun Set time.
-Brightness controlling --> DONE!
-Widgets for easy on/off of different filters

Almost what i needed I found this app while looking for a way to make the color balance on my screen match the ambient light when I use my tablet. The description implies that that is the intended function. But there isn't any simple warm to cool slider or setting that uses the camera, only manual adjustment of the 3 color channels. It also looks like the change is an additive, rather than subtractive one (blacks and midtones are tinted, but pure white looks the same), which does very little good in my situation, reading black text on a white background.

On Galaxy note 1 Seems to work fine on Android 2.3 unlike other similar apps. Good for reducing glare in low light reading situations.
