Saved My Shoot I usually use TPE to plan my lighting for shoots, but sometimes it's hard to tell exactly where landmarks will be in reference to the sun or moon. With this app on my HTC One (M8), I can pre-visualize exactly how things will look at any given time on any given day, assuming the weather cooperates. Tonight was a super moon. I had used TPE to select an appropriate location to shoot from. But when I got there and used this app, it turned out I was a couple miles off. This app saved the shoot.

Yes it works great but The first time I wanted to use it for real I'm way out in the boondocks with no internet connection what so ever and this pice of dodo shows a message something to the tune of copyright and will not work till it can connect. That just ain't right.

Awsome app but... Being a hobby photographer, this app is helpful in planning your outdoor shots. I love the fact that sun/moon tracks are well defined and clear. I did however run into an issue. that someone else had also noted on a similar phone to what I have, a Motorola RAZR, in that the tracks are not visible about 90% of the time. I was so desperate to have this app working that I may have found a workaround for those with this issue. To get the tracks to work, 1) You must have a picture taken with the camera icon, you need to do this only once. 2)Then retrieve a picture(floppy icon-->Load), select the picture and click the magnifying glass. 3) Once the image loads, click on the Camera/Play button and the track should now be visible. Hope the developers will fix this issue soon, other wise it is a great product. Suggestions to the developer: IMHO 1)Would be nice if the sun/moon slider was at the bottom rather then where it is now, on the top, hands get in the way of the display. 2) Would be nice if you included the location of the pole stars for star trail photography.

Excellent and Precise Very easy, precise and usefull. A 2d google map location and sun / moon / shadow plan representation would be an easy and usefull feature. Should be also possible put these to images. The hard features are fine and done.
