SWAT BETA

SWAT BETA

Here it is my new application (after "Upd8r")

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

It is called SWAT that means:
System
Wide
Advanced
Touchmanager

PLEASE COMMENT, LEAVE ME SOME FEEDBACK.

DESIGNED FOR TABLET.
YOU HAVE TO BE ROOTED.

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

At the moment it is a EARLY BETA, no dangerous, but with many bugs to fix and many improvements to do. FOR HC ROMs or ICS ROMs equiped with SuperSU not with Superuser.

What it does?
PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

SWAT can manage touches and/or gestures that you perform on the screen, independently from app that is running.

PLEASE COMMENT, LEAVE ME SOME FEEDBACK.

There is any configuration, it installs and when you boot it starts autamatically, it can handle these gestures:
- 2 FINGERS: SWIPE DOWN TO HIDE/SHOW STATUSBAR
- 3 FINGERS: SWIPE DOWN TO SIMULATE HOME BUTTON
- 5 FINGERS: LONG PRESS TO BRING UP RECENT APP LIST (NOT THE STACK)

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

I can suggest you to try to hide statusbar (2 FINGERS SWIPE DOWN) before or when you are into the BROWSER or when you are playing some game, this prevent topres inadvertently soft buttons or notification area. You will always minimize application (3 FINGERS SWIPE DOWN) to return to the home, or you can jump to another application by bringing up recent app list (5 FINGERS LONGPRESS).

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

I am sure that you will like to perform actions through gestures. LETS TRY!

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

At the moment it works on a variety of touchscreen (atmel-maxtouch, it7260, qtouch-touchscreen, sec_touchscreen, egalax_i2c, N-trig Multi Touch, mXT224_touchscreen) but it will be available also for other touchscreen types.
Tha TF101 touchscreen is the "atmel-maxtouch".

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

So you can try, just install and run application, you will see a button to start the service and two text field reporting found device type and the gesture detected (when this activity is in the foreground). Start the service and you will see a notification.
First time you will see SU request window to grant application permission.

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

Gestures to perform MUST be have certain distance (150 pixel) and velocity (150 pixel per second) to be detected.

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

The only drawback is that touches ARE NOT CONSUMED because this is a trick, SWAT is only a spectator that intercept events to simulate something else and it is not in the event-driven chain.

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

Let me know.

For bug, request, feedbacks email me : [email protected]

PLEASE COMMENT, EMAIL ME SOME FEEDBACK.

Thanx

Tf101 For some reason this app is not working. I tried the gestures and nothing happens but it does recognize my screen and what I am doing to the screen. Close but no cigar! I really love the idea! Keep pushing out updates!
