SwipePad - Gesture Launcher

SwipePad - Gesture Launcher

SwipePad is a launcher panel overlay, the fastest app/task switcher. With a single swipe action, you can launch anything from within any app.

It's extraordinarily simple and intuitive to use:
1. Touch down a pre-set edge of the screen;
2. Move your finger towards the center of the screen so the pad will emerge;
3. Release your finger on a specific slot to action.

That's it! This will bring your multitasking to a new level:)

Some notes:
★ A pad can hold a mix of apps, shortcuts, bookmarks, contacts etc. With widgetpad add-on, it can even launch a widget from anywhere!

★ This is not a home app, your home key preference is kept (works with all 3rd party home apps like Apex Launcher, Nova Launcher, ADW Launcher, Go Launcher EX etc.)

★ The app under SwipePad keeps running: no interruption

★ Memory & battery friendly

★ "DIRECTLY CALL PHONE NUMBERS" permission is required by Android system dialer shortcut. So you can set up a quick dial portal, and call your favorite contact with a single swipe.

Ideas and suggestions are welcomed:)

total crap. do not download. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a free app --just a sales platform for his stupid add ons

What a great app. With the addition of a home function for the portals, it totally enables operating a large phone (like the S3) one-handed. Modern app developers should start designing with the range of the human thumb in mind, or go back to iPhone.

I bough Power Strip for quicker access to my password manager when logging onto websites. Unfortunately I couldn't get used to Power Strip stealing away my Home key. This app uses swiping gestures to launch apps which I think is a stroke of genius. Hopefully the widget add-on will get the ability to actually display widgets and not not just link to them.

Terrific app!! Quite a few minor issues. One of the most useful apps that is required on a touch device. Been using for more than a year. I have purchased the extra pads addon. This is a terrific app for sure. However, there are quite many issues and there seems to be no desire by the developer to fix any. With over an year of using this, the issues continue to exist. 1. With No lock option on the icons, users will accidentally quite often, modify the app shortcut itself rather than launching the app. This is ridiculous. 2. No ability to change individual icons, only Icon packs can be changed. This is an ugly issue since there isn't one single icon pack in the world which has icons for all the apps available! So if i change my icon pack, some icon is always missing for some app and it's icons looks very different to the new look icons. 3. Direct dial shortcuts all look alike since there is no option to change the icon. 2 & 3 issues are terrible in terms of appearance! The looks of the phone goes for a toss here. No matter how well you customize the phone to make it look good, this app will tie your hands!!! 2 stars since issues have been existing for way too long. Fix this and Ill up it to 5!!!
