Sysroot has full file management capabilities, including access to root-restricted files on rooted devices.

EXISTING FEATURES
- Clean interface: no bubbly icons
- Unique layouts depending on screen size/rotation
- Full root access
- tar archive support
- Create new folders
- Copy/move/rename files/folders
- Perform bulk actions on files
- Edit files

FEATURES IN DEVELOPMENT
- zip/xz/lzma support
- Remote protocol support (FTP, etc.)
- Cloud protocol support (Dropbox, box.com, Google Drive, Microsoft SkyDrive)
- Persistent session with su/sh
- Integrate into other applications as a file selector - just needs refining
- Editing root-owned files

Recent changes:
- New method of checking for rooted device is more accurate
- New layout parameters appear more consistent across a wider variety of screens
- Removed file editor: it's obsolete now that there are many full-featured file editors on Google Play
- Better string handling for future translation support
- Automatically request root access upon launch
- Unnecessary hints have been removed
- Better support for ICS/JellyBean (Android 4)
- Much of the code has been rewritten; all of it has been revised

Lack of basic features Nothing can be changed: No option for height of rows, sorting by type, a-z, z-a, removed editor will be useful, no managing atributes and permissions I will change my rating when these features will be reality

Folder interaction Clicking on open on tablets is confusing; the regular touch to open/action should've been implemented.
