Tactile Player - Music Control

Tactile Player - Music Control

Control your music player with your phone's volume and power buttons! Finally you don't have to take out your phone, unlock the screen, and navigate to your music player just to change the song. With Tactile Player you can change the song just by using your phone's volume and power buttons, even in your pocket.

Double Press the volume UP key for NEXT.
Double Press the volume DOWN key for PREVIOUS.
Triple Press the Power key to toggle PAUSE/PLAY. (You can change this to double press or never if you like).
Simple as that.

These controls are now modular so you can make the volume down action trigger next or the power button trigger previous, it's up to you!

Tactile Player supports most stock players (the "Music" app) along with third party media players such as:
PowerAMP, Pandora, Google Music, Google Listen, doubleTwist, PlayerPro, Amazon MP3, Mixzing, and most other popular media players.

This full version also comes with a widget so you can easily turn the service on and off anytime.

Now you can use your favorite music player and control it with your phone's tactile buttons, thanks to Tactile Player. Try it out.

Note: You can turn the service off anytime, just open the app, press the off button, then close the app.
Note: Samsung users using the default music player on your phone, please select the "Simulate Headset Option" in the Choose a media player setting.

Great app Any possibility of adding a thumbs up option (Spotify and Pandora) for a double click on the tactile key or back button?

Works great! I was having trouble with the skip feature on Pandora while on Samsung s5 using Bluetooth in the car. Various media button controls I tried were intermittent in their ability to perform the skip. So glad I found Tactile Player. I have all the controls set to skip so I can press volume up, volume down or power and Pandora will skip. My eyes do not leave the road. Took a day or two to tweak to my taste but works great. The pay version is well worth the price because you can install a widget to turn on Tactile Player without opening the app.

Delivers flawlessly This is exactly what I was looking for. I've had this on three different droid phones and it has always worked perfectly.

Works beautifully. This is a great app for us audiophiles who like to lug around amplifiers and such. It works exactly the way it was designed to. I use an external DAC/amp with my Galaxy S3 (Vamp Verza if you're curious) and my inline buttons don't work through the amp. With Tactile Player I can now control my music without taking the phone out of my pocket. Highly recommended.

Works well Just what I needed to start, stop & skip podcasts easy with the screen off. The free version worked well so I got the extra functionality of the paid. I would like to request for it to work with the SiriusXM player.
