User reviews of TapeMachine Lite Recorder
A useful app for taking audio notes in actual audio standard formats like WAV's and FLACS, unlike the loads of other recording software.

No thanks This 'demo' is essentially unusable because of the timed start delay and the full version is ridiculously overpriced given the app doesn't offer much in the first place.

Re-evaluated. It appears I purchased the Full app. But think my previous review was intended for a different app. This app clearly has good features. I wish Wavepad had at least the 1 feature that makes this app incredibly useful, the UI is stable, eye friendly. I've not tried exporting/saving.

Acts like an old tape deck recorder It records amazingly. But, the best thing is a little quirk I absolutely love. I was using this to record a guitar riff, Les Paul connected right into a Fender Mustang set to emulate a 1965 Twin Reverb, a normally very clean amp. I played it back, and it had a bit of fuzzy distortion. That's what sold me on it, this accidental fuzz. This was the exact tone I was looking for, and it works well with the bass too, adds a bit of bite where it's needed.
