★★★★★
Works great on some apps. "Recent apps" (shown by square icon, bottom right of screen) are still open and are identified as "running" by this plugin. That's a good thing. When you swipe an app to remove it from recent apps, the intent is that they will no longer be shown as running. That works for some apps but not others. For example, it works great for simple apps like Calculator. But on my particular app (a GPS hiking app), apparently a part of the app continues to run after you swipe it away. This plugin continues to show it running. So in my case it's not really an improvement over the native Tasker app profile, which simply detects apps in or out of focus.

Tasker plugin detects app active (including background) or not. Enough said, obvious value.

Works Perfectly! This Tasker plugin allows you to check for running (or not running) processes, and to use that information either as a profile trigger or as part of a task action. If you want to save battery life, set a profile to trigger when a process starts (rather than continually checking for it) and use an if/else loop in the task to check if the process is still running. This is one of the most useful Tasker plugins I've found, and unlike many others, it's free.
★★★★★
Great Tasker Plugin. This app does exactly what it's suppose to, check if a Tasker process is running.
★★☆☆☆
Unfortunately it shows only 2 running processes: su and toolbox. Could you please fix it? The plugin could save a lot of time, as I needed to create long Tasker action to determine if process is launched or not (by dumpsys)
★★☆☆☆
Total crud Dont bother downloading it just redirects you to a paid version
★★☆☆☆
Useless Just redirects to the $3 Tasker app on the store. How does this qualify as a app?
★★☆☆☆
Unfortunately - as others have described; on Android 10 it keeps asking for root even though it has been provided SU access via Magisk.
