Tetromino Alpha

Tetromino Alpha

So this is an alpha of what will eventually become a TetriNET client. The original core game logic is a port from the J2ME version of http://code.google.com/p/simple-tetris-clone/ which is MIT Licensed (http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php).

My goal is to implement new features on at least a weekly basis, and I welcome any feature requests or criticisms.

Controls:
If you have directional buttons, those work as expected.

For touch,
touch and drag left and right to move left and right.
Single tap right side of screen to rotate clockwise and left side of screen to rotate counterclockwise.
Double tap to drop.
Drag down to move down faster.

Awkward Cons: The touch interface is awkward to use. It's easy to accidentally drop a block, for instance, and positioning is fidgety. The block colors are confusing. Pros: I love the shadow position feature!

Nice start Looking for a tetrinet game wih multiplayer so hoping this can go all the way. The double tap to drop is a little uninuitive. If the pace of the game increases, it will become impossible simply for the fact that you can't spin the pieces fast enough. Need to reconsider the touch screen control methods.

Great Overall a great app. Simple, good looking design with nothing fancy and distracting. I'd like it much better though if there was an option for onscreen controls. I keep making stupid mistakes because the touch controls aren't as fine as I'd like.
